You can delete your Teleprompter account and everything synced to it at any time. There is no waiting period and nothing to ask us for.
From inside the app
- Open Teleprompter and tap the cloud icon in the top right.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and every synced script are removed immediately.
If you have already uninstalled
Email us from the address you signed up with and we will delete the account for you. We aim to action requests within 30 days.

You do not have to delete your whole account to remove something. Delete an individual script in the app — swipe or use the delete button in your script library — and its text is erased from our servers on the next sync, usually within seconds. We keep only a marker recording that the script existed and was deleted, with no title and no content, so your other devices know to remove it too rather than restoring it.
To remove everything at once while keeping your account, delete each script and they are all cleared. To remove the account itself as well, use the steps above.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in details
- Every script you have synced, on our servers
- The record of which devices you signed in from
This is a deletion, not a deactivation — nothing is retained afterwards except where we are required by law to keep it.
Scripts saved only on your phone are not touched. They live on the device, not on our servers, so deleting your account leaves them exactly where they are. To remove those, delete them in the app or uninstall it.
